Doug Stanhope is the clear winner of super smart, hilarious, and dirty comics right now. “Turning the Gun on Himself” is a culmination of 20 years in the underground do the exact same thing. Stanhope is the Nikola Tesla of comics…he’ll go largely unnoticed by the masses and die penniless when those who were paying attention will have stolen everything he could create for their own benefit.
