All of the room and space of a single-wide mobile home, but without the stigma. I suppose if living in a skinny aluminum tube is your thing, then so be it.

For me, I’d rather go for the 747 model. Lower the floor a bit (you don’t need the cargo bay), make the upper “lounge” a master suite, and you do have yourself a roomy house.

A dinky pond-hopper is still dinky, no matter how much wood it’s lined with.

  12. there’s a hell of a lot of energy that goes into making alluminum. even recycling it. i think they should receive a green award for ” a better way to recycle aluminum”

I think this is very nice, anyone can make a home out of nothing, but taking something and turning it into a home is awesome, I know I can’t make a home out of a freakin plane, this person (owners ect.) has my interest and support!! ^_^ Cool beans Yo!

Hell Yes!!! I would love to live in an Aeroplane! And that is not cheating with the Hut. That is innovation, anyway, every house needs a porch or deck.

  19. Matt says:

Shit, it’d be a pain if you’d built that and then you only had economy class tickets!

This is actually at Manuel Antonio’s Costa Verde hotel. It’s an amazing place in Costa Rica that’s pretty affordable.

I like this collection. It is interesting to see some people do creative stuff from a junk plane.

  24. robocop says:

It’s a hotel room, and it can be yours for $375 a night. Nope, real pics, not photoshop.

  25. Xanadu says:

Love the Photoshop comments. These “experts” must be experts in their own minds. Here’s the website for the hotel that made this 1965 Boeing 727 fuselage into accommodations. http://www.costaverde.com/727.html

  26. Mike Oxhard says:

lol @ Mike the Graphic Design Teacher

The photoshop comments are just dumb jokes… and the funniest part about them are the people who take them seriously. I think your comment is photoshop’d… or it should be. You suck at the English language. I hope you don’t teach in the US.
