Written and recorded in 1973 , released in 1989 .
Damn its funky!

1984 classic jam of bassist Buddy Hankerson of “Steve Arrington’s Hall Of Fame” just having a funky good time, “Glory be the funk’s on me” i feel the presence of the stellarship…!!!

Previously we saw how McDonalds advertising agency had stolen an idea…….

Well these lot seem to “borrow” a lot of ideas too!

Grip, is the first video of Roel Wouters aka Xelor. it’s a one take, top shot music video with trampoline gymnasts simulating typical video effects.

I suspect Mr Wouters had something to do with the advert too! at least i hope he did, otherwise he should be talking to his lawyers now!!!

Muslim Mahammad an Azerbaijani was a huge star in the USSR! Although many of his songs were banned by the “party” This funky number slipped through!

its called “Baku, My City”, the song is surprisingly about Baku, the capital of the former Soviet republic Azerbaijan.

Review: Funky! especially love the imagery of Baku in soviet times!
